It's great fun to build sandcastles and you don't need to carry a bulk of materials to perform it. All you need to bring is buckets with different sizes, sand, spray bottle, plastic spoons and knives, water and shovel.

In building sandcastle, you need more water to be used as glue in to keep the sand close together, and make the form cohesive. A nice place to build sandcastle is in an area where there's plenty of sand, but not very near the water. Of course you don't want to waste your effort in building your masterpiece if it will be taken only by the tide.

Sand castle is also good to babies and children who are born special, sand makes these children to be more creative and be more active in playing which is a good stimulation in developing their mind. Sand castle is also one of the alternatives of an autism toys for kids.
