Occupational therapy is a treatment that focuses on helping people achieve independence in all areas of their lives.It can offer kids with various needs positive, fun activities to improve their cognitive, physical, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. Most of the people think that occupational therapy is only intended for adults, but occupational therapy has a vast areas covered in promoting health, it is draw in the fields of medicine, psychology, sociology, anthropology, ethnography, architecture and is proven to treat difficulties to every person.

Today, occupational therapy is proven best in children to help them improve their daily activities through occupation. With the help of an occupational therapist ,a child's can develop skills through playing and learning, in this way occupational therapist can evaluate a child's skills for play activities, school performance, and activities of daily living and compare them with what is developmentally appropriate for that age group.
